Check your Xendit Shopify Credentials

Xendit and Shopify integration works by inputting your Xendit credential that we generated in your dashboard to your Shopify dashboard. Follow the steps below to find your Xendit Shopify Credentials:

  1. Go to Xendit Dashboard and Login
  2. Open Settings > Integrations > Shopify
  3. You can see your Shopify credentials below

Customize Order Settings for Unpaid Orders

You can customize your unpaid order status in Shopify via Xendit dashboard. This will help you to decide whether unpaid order will be considered as PENDING or ABANDONED.

Quick steps to do so:

  1. Go to Xendit Dashboard and Login

  2. Open Settings > Integrations > Shopify

  3. Find Order Settings section and click the dropdown below "Set unpaid order to"

    • Pending payment order: this means order will be created and stock items will be reduced right after checkout is completed, even if payment is not yet completed
    • Abandoned checkout: this means order will be classified as abandoned and stock items will remain the same right after checkout is completed. Order status and items stock will be changed as soon as payment is detected for that particular checkout

Customize Xendit Payment Email Notification

You can decide whether you want to send Xendit Payment Email notification to your customer or not through Xendit dashboard.

Quick steps to do so:

  1. Go to Xendit Dashboard and Login

  2. Open Settings > Integrations > Shopify

  3. Go to Order Settings section and find check box with label Send Invoice email to customer below Set unpaid order to options

    • Checked: this means Xendit will send Xendit Payment Email notification to the customer
    • Unchecked: this means Xendit will not send Xendit Payment Email notification to the customer
